WELCOME

Casey Zarger is a recent graduate of a 5-year program for an integrated Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering degree at The Pennsylvania State University. He is in the mechanical option and enjoys design and interacting with people. Casey is a part of a number of professional organizations, such as SSAE (Student Society of Architectural Engineers), and ASHRAE, and he also participates in IM Soccer and leads Young Life at Penn State.

Two summers ago, Casey interned at the Manitowoc Company in Shady Grove, PA as an engineering intern and last summer at James Posey Associates as a mechanical engineering intern in Baltimore, MD. These summer experiences have given Casey a grasp of the engineering industry and the process behind design, construction, and coordination that allows for the construction of quality buildings. He comes from a long history of hands on experience and problem solving, spending the summers and weekends of his youth helping at his parent's plumbing and heating business. Casey is a member of the Schreyer Honors College, he passed the FE exam last fall, and he is excited to begin his career as an engineer at a passionate and innovative company. He will be starting his career at Leach Wallace Associates in the Fall.

Casey was the recipient of ASHRAE's Willis H. Carrier Scholarship, Cannon Design's Outstanding Performance in Mechanical, 4th Year AE Class Award, and has been recognized three times as a student leader through the receipt of the PSU Student Leader Scholarship. In addition to mechanical design, he also enjoys soccer, swimming, working out, playing guitar, reading, and volunteering.
